Writing at the public library. Probably quiet–or quiet enough. Dishes do not scream from the sink. The garden does not beckon. The dog does not suggest a walk instead. And no husband to engage in conversation. (As an extravert, I am weak and find myself easily engaged even when I know I should be writing.) A phone call from a friend will pull me away. And yikes the Internet! I’ve thought about finding a cheap computer and disabling everything but basic word processing. All the best with the task at hand.
