One of my fav places on earth! Was there for the first shuttle launch with my brother and dad. I was too small to really remember. We went back together a couple of years ago, for one of the last shuttle launches, and took a photo together in the rocket garden, in the same place we did 30 years before. Special place, special memories.
How about that Saturn 5 exhibit, huh?

I missed the Saturn 5 exibit, due to being in a total RUSH before catching the plane home! In fact, I dithered about the expense of entry fee, when I had about an hour until closing. How could it be cost-effective? But how could I not go, since it was on the way to the airport?
Answer: for 10 bucks extra, I got a year-long membership. Since I will surely be in Florida at least once more this year, if not more. Free entry, free parking, discount for people coming with me — what’s not to love?

I was told, years and years ago, that an SFWA Membership Card counted as a press pass for NASA. I wonder if that’s still true.

Hm… wonder where my actual SFWA card is, after all this time? I have one, but I haven’t used it in ages.
