OK, so I am getting ready to read the Steerswoman series from the beginning–again. You are a brilliant writer; your prose is fresh and well crafted. Your characters are fully 3-D. This is no idle praise. I’m a journalist and an editor–have been since my 20s and I’m coming up on my 60th b-day in October. So even though I have read that fiction writing is avocation for you (me too only I have way too many unfinished stories and books–lack of focus I guess or rebellion against spending too many hours editing for others)–anyway I am sure I am not the only one waiting to read what happens to Rowan and William. (The scene with the “dragons” was incredible–a chess game. I’m amazed at how you pulled that off with enough clarity for the reader to follow. No small feat.)
So, I’m glad to find your blog, and I await the next installment of Rowan’s adventure.
