Catching up…
I’ve been mostly incommunicado for a while (except for some easy-post social media), while trying to make progress on Some Things.
If you’ve sent me an email and I haven’t replied, that’s why…
I’ll be using part of the long weekend to catch up on correspondence and other neglected items.

Okay, I just finished The Language of Power and really, really want to know what happens next!! What’s the projected wait time for Book 5? The whole development is brilliant; it’s a standard wizard world fantasy; no, wait, we’re talking technology? Routine Bioform Clearance? Hey, is this a colony world? And what do certain words actually mean? There are new surprises on practically every page, which keeps me reading. The native life forms are especially well done; quadrilateral symmetry, odd joints, interior arrangements that bear almost no resemblance to any terrestrial life, and of course social interactions that must be puzzled out from scratch, plant life mostly hostile. Um…we wants more, our Preciousss?????

So glad you enjoyed the books!
The short answer to your question: It’s hard to project a wait time for the next book in the series, as there are some things going on in my life that need most of my attention at the moment. What I can say is that I’m hoping and actively planning to get back into the series within the next two years.
Also, I’m planning a more detailed discussion of the question here in my blog, once I get the website updated and sorted out. So, stay tuned…
